Restaurant General Manager
Salary: $35,000 - $45,000/yr. Based on Experience

The Restaurant General Manager manages to effectively lead and direct all standards, expectations & financial results. Develop all employees through direct feedback, verbal & written. Staff unit to 100% including developing future shift leads, managers and trainers. The Restaurant General Manager is expected to ensure effectiveness of all store operations, working a variety of day parts including open, mid shifts & closings while also working random weekend days. Leading and managing new store openings for the Franchisor.

The Restaurant General Manager is expected to meet or exceed the financial budget, involving Dine In, Drive Thru & Catering, Exceed prior year guest counts and PPA, and Meet or exceed performance expectations (Food, Labor & Supply Costs etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with the Franchisor on a predetermined schedule
  • Quarterly QA Ops Audit, provide action plan to address issues
  • Coordinate facility emergency and non-emergency recs with Franchisor
  • Roll up payroll, inventory, approved AP and transfer sheets in a timely manner
  • Approve manager and hourly schedules to ensure correct proper balance
  • Approve all PTO (Personal Time Off) for correct coverage
  • Ensure highly efficient rollout of all LTO materials and training. Audit current marketing materials and remove outdated signage
  • Maintain an open channel to Franchisor on all HR and related issues
  • Ensure protection of Franchisors Shipley Do-Nuts brand and assets through compliance of the company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in restaurant operations, general or assistant manager experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of restaurant operations, accounting, budgeting & administrative procedures
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a strong ability to work independently, cooperatively within a team and under required timelines
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate professionally
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Exposure to industry software preferred
  • Occasional lifting to 75 lbs.
  • Assisting the unit as needed or assigned may be required
