Position Overview:
The Restaurant Service Manager is responsible for providing effective leadership to drive sales, and hospitality at the highest level, profitability, and long-term growth by managing all service aspects of the restaurant with an entrepreneurial approach.
We’ll expect you to build a team and lead by example while uplifting our staff in our fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.
Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly, your team is informed, engaged, and empowered and guests have pleasant dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Interview, hire, train, and oversee employees
- Manage the inventory for small wares and tabletop items
- Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and the overall presentation of food
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas
- Ensure employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service
- Schedule staff hours and assign duties
- Maintain budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions
- Establish standards for personnel performance and guest service
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of proven work experience as a Restaurant Service Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Extensive wine, food, and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform guests and wait staff
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Acute financial management skills
- Degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
- Must exude hospitality and friendliness and be able to draw those same traits from your team
- Ability to put forth maximum effort daily while maintaining a positive attitude
- Sommelier training/certification a plus

Salary: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year + Bonus
