Lab Technician

POSITION TITLE: Lab Technician

DEPARTMENT: Field

LOCATION: Montgomery, Alabama

JOB NUMBER: 2021-2016-01

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for a Lab Technician to support our long-term project in Montgomery, Alabama. 50-hour work weeks. Local candidates preferred.

The daily work will include:

· Retrieving, labeling, and storing daily samples in compliance with the ASTM method

· Performing daily test on samples in compliance with the ASTM method

· Recording and analyzing test results

· Maintaining detailed records and reports

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science. Minimum six months laboratory experience. Related experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Other job requirements include:

· Experience in lab and sampling procedures

· Data Management

· Field experience a plus

SALARY/BENEFITS:

Hourly position. Extensive company-provided benefit package includes medical, dental, prescription, 401k, and pension plan.
