Job Description

Responsibilities & Areas of Effectiveness:

  • Develop relationships and test outbound strategies to generate new leads

  • Follow up with existing lead list and new inbound leads

  • Reactivate past customers who have fallen off the wagon

  • Attend trade shows to develop leads and partnership opportunities

  • Develop sales pipeline process for following up and converting leads

  • Travel and meet with existing customers to strengthen relationships

  • Identify opportunities to sell new products to existing customers

  • Work with customers to pitch and schedule sales and promotions

  • Check-in and monitor customer’s needs and collect POs when necessary

  • Make customer deliveries if/when sales customer meetings can overlap

  • Work with supply chain manager to maintain margins & balance inventory

  • Assist in developing wholesale revenue budgets and goals

  • Continuously strive for opportunities that go the extra mile to surpass customer expectations (e.g. respond to missed calls, courtesy emails, helpful resources, etc.)

 

Qualifications & Character:

  • Alignment with our core company values. This role will be the primary face of Seven Sons to our customers and it is imperative that values and mission is well represented.

  • Proven track record of success and sales growth in a similar role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills & a track record of being a friendly/bubbly person! :)

  • Savvy computer skills with experience using online tools and CRM apps to accomplish your work.

  • Ability to adjust to constant innovation and a fast pace of change.

  • Ability to work in a fun yet highly productive and collaborative team environment.

  • Willingness to report to management and to take responsibility for work performed, oversights, and areas of improvement.

  • Ability to self-direct, multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

 

Nice to Haves:

  • Sales experience and relationships within the food industry

  • A love for Apple Devices. Yes, we’re die-hard Apple fans!

  • High competence in Lord of the Rings and/or Star Wars trivia :)

  • Wholesale Margin

  • # Weekly Sales Calls

This role currently reports to our CEO.

 

Expected Hours:

  • Commitment of 5 days per week

  • This role is expected to self-manage and prioritize their workdays and hours.
