ServiceNow is looking for a highly self-motivated Revenue Accounting Manager who has strong technical and revenue operational experience, and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task-oriented environment. This person will play a critical role in managing or supporting various digitalization projects, cross-functional strategic initiatives, and new product introduction.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Manage various automation and digitalization initiatives, including creating design requirements and overseeing user acceptance testing to ensure successful project rollout

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new go-to-market motions, design and implement operational process, and ensure business transactions are appropriately accounted for

  • Assist in resolution of technical revenue issues and write related technical memos

  • Identify opportunities to improve, accelerate, and enhance the revenue cycle, and drive these initiatives to completion

  • Serve as a key resource for acquisition integration

  • Support the monthly close and corporate reporting requirements

  • Work with a global team to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and teamwork

  • Develop and deliver revenue recognition training on revenue guidance, policies, and best practices

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) or similar from four-year college or university

  • 8+ years relevant accounting experience, including process and system experience, preferably with a background in a Big 4 public accounting firm

  • Proficient understanding of (US GAAP) software revenue recognition including extensive experience in the application of ASC 606 and working knowledge of all other current authoritative literature related to revenue recognition

  • Active CPA designation and relevant industry accounting experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple simultaneous initiatives

  • Ability to effectively work other functional groups including FP&A, Sales, Marketing, and IT

  • Demonstrated experience in interacting with all levels of management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office products

  • Experience with SAP is a plus
