HRIS & Data Analyst
FLSA Status: Exempt
Service, Coordination, Inc. (SCI)
SCI supports individuals with disabilities, behavioral challenges, medically complex needs, transitioning youth, the elderly, and other populations using the state-mandated Targeted Case Management work model.
Position Summary: The HRIS and Workforce Analyst partners with Team Member Operations Manager to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HRIS and Workforce Analyst builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation, and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS and Workforce Analyst also supports and leads HRIS systems upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.
Essential Duties:
  • Prepares reports on data summaries, changes, and trends for use by management
  • Continually assesses functionality of HRIS, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Performance Management System, and other systems related to People and Culture
  • Administer the HR (Human Resources) SharePoint site and identify ways to better meet team member needs
  • Develops, designs, tests, and implements systems designed to meet the needs of the People and Culture department
  • Ensures reporting needs and requirements as well as data integrity are addressed throughout the implementation process
  • Partners with the Team Member Operations team to effectively utilize technology to manage data and drive the efficiency of the People and Culture's strategic planning and analysis
  • Partners with SCI's IT (Information Technology) and People and Culture department to identify necessary system enhancements to minimize use of ancillary systems or manual networks
  • Serves as point of contact for HRIS, ATS, Performance Management System, and other People and Culture systems enhancements/upgrades
  • Documents and tests change and educates the People and Culture staff regarding changes
  • Develops customized system reports for People and Culture management and entity leadership
  • Triages incoming report requests, develops custom ad hoc reports as appropriate or recommends use of standard system report (e.g., staffing effectiveness, licensure tracking, evaluation reports, disciplinary actions, competency analysis)
  • Develops executive dashboard metrics to empower leaders to make informed business decisions relating to their workforce's retention and engagement
  • Develops reporting mechanisms that ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as JCAHO, EEO, and other reporting requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or relevant work experience in systems analysis/design
  • Minimum of 3 years direct Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Software Testing experience
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS and Payroll systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now, AcquireTM ATS and Performance Pro
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills

Physical Demands: Generally, presents standard office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationery>95% of the time. Continually operates a computer, keyboard and mouse, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, and mobile Smartphone device. Constantly positions self to comfortably maintain computer equipment. May occasionally be required to move about in an office setting or position office equipment weighing between 10-25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. The person in this position frequently communicates with other people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
