Sequoia Mental Health Services is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for Outpatient Services. Outpatient services include access, intake, adults, children (age 6-17) and families. A successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced busy community mental health setting. The Clinical Supervisor works very closely with the Clinical Director and Clinical Leadership team to provide client centered, trauma informed individualized treatment to all clients enrolled in services with Sequoia MHS.
The Clinical Supervisor oversees the delivery of clinical services to adults, children and families.
Coordinates or assists in coordinating and promoting the open access model of entry into mental health/co-occurring treatment at the agency.
Engages and works collaboratively within the agency and with outside resources (DHS, schools, doctor offices, and other internal and community resources) to obtain and coordinate services necessary for crisis stabilization, social development, housing needs, education, medical needs, etc.
Reviews and signs off on assigned team member treatment plans, providing guidance and education when needed.
Facilitates referrals to appropriate internal and/or external resources where indicated.
Provides consultation and education services within the agency and with community partners as needed.
Provide regular administrative and clinical supervisor to staff in accordance to the policies and procedures outlined by Sequoia MHS.
Oversee Interns and coordinate with area MS programs.
Train all new staff in intake procedures.
Currently licensed in Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Must have a completed MS degree in a mental health related field.
Must have a minimum of two years postgraduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting.
Demonstrate a sound understanding of evidenced based practices for outpatient services including both adults and children.
Must communicate effectively and provide culturally competent treatment services to diverse client populations.
Computer proficiency required to use Electronic Health Records. Must pass state-required background and DMV checks, possess a valid driver's license, and have a safe driving record.
Approved Clinical Supervisor on Registry for State of Oregon.
