Able to quickly understand complex technical requirements, distill those into user stories in the Jira backlog, manage and maintain the Jira backlog, including the creation and prioritization of tickets, and the ability to communicate and moderate conversations around backlog’s prioritization. This person serves as the “buffer” between the team and stakeholders to ensure that the technical team focuses on the deliverables while you navigate the stakeholders, customers, clients, leadership, and all involved parties. Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing projects, processes, and teams delivering web-based systems
- 2+ years experience as a Product Owner
- Strong experience creating and delivering client briefings and status reports, specifically Senior Federal Leadership
- Proven ability to build relationships with managers, product managers, and product/system owners
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including coordination and presentations
- Ability to be onsite in the Crystal City/Alexandria, VA region 4-5 days a week
- BA or BS degree or compensating experience
Additional Qualifications Considered:
- 2+ years experience with Atlassian Jira
- 2+ years experience with Agile @ Scale (SAFe, DAD, etc)
- Experience with supporting program activities using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with teaching and consulting teams on the adoption of Agile methodology
- 1+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud, SC2S, and/or C2S
- Experience with Data Analytics, Big Data, and/or process automation
- Experience in JIRA administration, workflow development, and ticket configuration
- PMP certification
- Agile Coaching certification
- AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, or DevOps)
