We are seeking a Business Analyst II to join our Sacramento or Vallejo team!
What you'll do:
- Design business analysis and reporting for use throughout the department
- Collaborate with internal data intelligence group to design data processes and reporting standards, ensure data accuracy, and resolve reporting requests
- Ensure accuracy of data. Regularly examine data reports/dashboards to locate and resolve mistakes
- Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
- Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
- Support various departments, including branches, marketing and resource departments, in reaching their goals through analysis
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through process improvement and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
- Track report requests, prioritization, etc.
- Support develop and implement quality controls and data standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need:
- Three years of experience as a financial or business analyst
- Experience in analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
- Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects to meet deadlines and ability to adapt to change
- Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts, Microsoft Power BI
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
- Attention to small details that could impact results
- General knowledge of financial institution, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
- Strong commitment to our mission – creating economic opportunity for traditionally underserved communities.
- Preference for working in organizations that place priority on teamwork and collaboration.
- Interest in social justice and consumer advocacy preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field OR 3+ years of equivalent related experience preferred.
This role is hybrid with the expectation of two WFH days and three days onsite at either the Sacramento or Vallejo branch.
Salary Range: $64,480 - $81,800 (Sacramento); $64,480 - $86,200 (Vallejo)
