We are seeking a Business Analyst II to join our Sacramento or Vallejo team!

What you'll do:

• Design business analysis and reporting for use throughout the department
• Collaborate with internal data intelligence group to design data processes and reporting standards, ensure data accuracy, and resolve reporting requests
• Ensure accuracy of data. Regularly examine data reports/dashboards to locate and resolve mistakes
• Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
• Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
• Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
• Support various departments, including branches, marketing and resource departments, in reaching their goals through analysis
• Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through process improvement and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
• Track report requests, prioritization, etc.
• Support develop and implement quality controls and data standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need:

• Three years of experience as a financial or business analyst
• Experience in analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
• Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects to meet deadlines and ability to adapt to change
• Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts, Microsoft Power BI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
• Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
• Attention to small details that could impact results
• General knowledge of financial institution, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
• Strong commitment to our mission – creating economic opportunity for traditionally underserved communities.
• Preference for working in organizations that place priority on teamwork and collaboration.
• Interest in social justice and consumer advocacy preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field OR 3+ years of equivalent related experience preferred.

This role is hybrid with the expectation of two WFH days and three days onsite at either the Sacramento or Vallejo branch. 

Salary Range: $64,480 - $81,800 (Sacramento); $64,480 - $86,200 (Vallejo)
