CSR/Order Entry Clerk

Our client is a large manufacturer located in Vacaville, looking for a Customer Service Representative/Order Entry Clerk. This assignment is a contract position, through the end of May, to assist with coverage, but has potential to become permanent.

This is not a retail customer service position, and previous Order Entry experience is required.

Pay: $18.00-20.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule: Part Time, Monday - Friday 9:00 A.M - 2:00 P.M.


  • Receives sale calls, quotation requests, faxes, mail, EDI, email, and will-call orders.
  • Enter customer orders into processing system.
  • Create pricing quotes and proposals.
  • Contacts customers concerning late payments, invoicing issues, and other issues involving credit and receivable items for branch assigned accounts.
  • Arrange direct and/or hot shot deliveries to correct customer problems.
  • Process credit card transactions. Assist with Inventory counts.

Job Requirements

  • Customer Service (2 years preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Computer Literate - documentation and accuracy are required
  • Professional phone and email mannerisms
  • Experience with MS Outlook/Office
