SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is assisting a major automotive OEM in hiring a Finance Senior Analyst to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is a DIRECT hire opportunity, NOT a Contractual role.

Job Description
  • Prepare reports which summarizes and forecasts company business activities and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings.
  • Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status.
  • Oversee the month end closing, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, costing, and analysis activities.
  • Responsible for internal accounting policy compliance and the closing of the books in coordination with North America Accounting, Tax, Project Controlling Directors.
  • Provide financial information to site management team, areas, and operations of the finance team.
  • Produce results, forecasts, budgets and a 3-year plan.
  • Prepare the annual budget and monitor departmental budgets and provide financial oversight for all
  • departments/business units.
  • Utilization analysis - plan vs actual.
  • Headcount reporting and reconciliation.
  • Monthly hours reconciliation.
  • Monitor employee time reporting and manager approvals.
  • Annual labor rate setting process.
  • Account Reconciliations, journal entries as needed.
  • Promote and contribute to identify any cost-effective actions.
  • Support internal control campaign once a year.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial reporting systems.
  • Assess, execute, and streamline policies, procedures, controls, and most methodologies.
  • Perform other related duties.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related field and 4-8 years or more related experience.
  • Finance team management experience and demonstrated leadership success.
  • Travel is necessary as needed.
  • Experience in managing multiple financial programs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Microsoft Office Experience.
