The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for initiating innovative process improvement, assisting management with the presentation of written proposals for the acquisition of cost-effective business materials and/or processes, and ensuring efficient distribution, justification, inventory, maintenance, repair, and replacement of all vehicles/equipment issued to the SIS security personnel. Finally, the Logistics Specialist will work closely with internal and external vendors and on-site Client personnel and SIS corporate management to fulfill necessary tasks. The Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Operations Manager. Note: Must have open availability. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Essential Job Functions + Moderate actions and create procedural continuity with other employees + Maintain the solid and safe condition of the Utility Ops Room, especially its orderly and clean appearance + Proactively implement updated technological systems + Promptly attend to on-site requests from SIS Executive and Leadership teams and requests from the Clients Global Security team within the scope of designated responsibilities + Receive, evaluate, and disseminate incoming information and reports including information from Client personnel, Specialists in the field, Client employees, suppliers, and local agencies + Coordinate and schedule all routine and major SIS vehicle maintenance and repairs with proper approval + Systemize uniform purchases, inventory, distribution, replacement, repairs, and other needs that develop + Supervise all SIS communication systems and equipment including radios and their accessories + Purchase and track office supplies necessary for successful completion of operations with the approval of the Operations Manager + Monitor issued Fire/Medical equipment for Mobile units + Manage SIS, Inc.

vehicle gas cards/logs + Create, document, and maintain Monthly Reports + Oversee management of Security Lost and Found storage area and processes Additional Job Functions + Perform other related duties as required Minimum Qualifications and Requirements + Valid California Guard Card + Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred + Must have a minimum of one year experience in a logistics role + Must have extensive knowledge and proficiency with use of Mac computers and in software programs such as Excel, Word, Google Docs, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and other software applications + Experience with integration of automated inventory systems such as Inventory Return Merchandise Authorization (IRMA) and Asset Management software + Must have the ability to analyze presented information and situations and reliably respond with sound decision-making to adopt an effective course of action + Experience working with outside vendors for the acquisition of resources and materials + Experience with integration of automated inventory systems such as Inventory Return Merchandise Authorization (IRMA) and Asset Management software + Must be able to initiate and promote work environments to function at higher efficiency levels + Must have experience working in a dynamic, stressful, fast-paced professional environment while keeping a positive, can-do attitude + Must Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with attention to detail and poise in conveying and exchanging information to various audiences + Competency in reading, writing, and evaluating reports + Aptitude in verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning + Knowledge of safe automobile operations including vehicle code violations + Experienced in Principles of First Aid/CPR/AED preferred + Previous managerial and customer service background preferred What we can offer: + $24.73/hr + A dynamic and challenging work environment + Health, Dental and Vision benefits, plus access to dependent coverage and a variety of other benefits + Eligibility to contribute to a 401k Plan after the first year of employment + Paid Time Off Security Industry Specialists, Inc.
