About the role:
The Field Training Specialist (FTS) manages and delivers internal training to security staff, and ensures the smooth and effective functioning of training events and state compliance. Responsibilities include developing and presenting on-site training programs for new hires and requires an understanding of overall field services, operations, and functions in assigned areas including post reviews, specialist inspections, emergency response, post order compliance reviews and special projects as assigned. FTSs must perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures, and all state and federal regulations. The Field Training Specialist will work with the internal Training Coordinator and report to the Site Manager.

The Field Training Specialist will work with the internal Training Coordinator and report to the Site Manager.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Manage and coordinate the training of all on-site security operations and programs
- Partner with client location representatives to ensure proper utilization and execution of security program training
- Identify training and development needs within a unit, site, or team
- Design and develop training and development programs based on needs of the site, individual, and company
- Amend and revise programs as necessary in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment
- Perform other related duties as required
- Liaise with SIS leadership for effective scheduling protocols
As a candidate you must have:
- Have a minimum 4 years related safety/security experience. Law enforcement experience preferred but not required
- Have thorough knowledge of security procedures, life-safety, and business continuity
- Have experience in project management or coordination of training initiatives
- Have excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required
- Be willing to work various shifts, and be able to adjust to changing needs and priorities as they arise
- Valid Driver's License Required
