Position: Key Control/Administrative Officer (KCAO)
Location: Anniston, Alabama
Security 1 Solutions is seeking a Key Control/Administrative Officer (KCAO) to assist in leading a distinguished security force for the Center-Domestic Preparedness (CDP) located in Anniston, Alabama. The KCAO helps control and manage the Lock and Key Control Program as described in the statement of work.
The KCAO is responsible for managing the Lock and Key Control Program, securing, accounting for, issuing, inventorying, preparing, and monitoring key/lock combinations, and security code replacements and changes. This position is responsible for receiving, maintaining, and tracking confidential and routine correspondence, composing responses, handling a variety of inquiries by telephone, in person, and in writing, as well as maintaining a variety of sensitive/confidential/proprietary information, records, and/or files.
The KCOA supports all CDP activities and facilities, assists staff and visitors, assist the Office of Security in creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment, and presents themselves in a manner appropriate for the CDP environment.
a citizen of the United States of America.
shall have a Social Security Card issued and approved by the Social Security Administration.
able to obtain and maintain a FEMA/DHS and Office of Personnel Management suitability.
pass a drug screen.
Education and Experience Requirements:
a high school diploma or equivalent.
the knowledge and ability to perform all required guard services duties.
three (3) years of experience in administrative office work .
two (2) years of technical or university education, are preferred.
Required Skills, Certifications & Other
must be articulate and have demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel.
must be qualified to carry a firearm in the state of Alabama and hold an active armed license.
Must be able to manage and maintain a Lock and Key Control Program that secures, accounts for, issues, inventories, prepares and monitors key/lock combinations, and security code replacements and changes.
Receive, service, and account for all lock and key control items within the scope of this contract.
Maintain lock and key control plan that facilitates tracks/monitors, controls key duplication, proximity card issuance, and remote transmitter exchanges, and reports loss or unauthorized duplication of government-issued access control items.
The ability to read, write, and speak the English language articulately and fluently.
The ability to construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.
