Position Summary

Securis is looking for a CDL A licensed driver to be part of our growing and hardworking Shipping & Receiving team. Newly licensed graduates are welcome to apply! The Driver Trainee will perform necessary warehouse duties in addition to receiving valuable on the road driver training. Overtime hours are sometimes available. This is a full-time 40 hours a week position. Hours are generally Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30 pm but the actual start and stop times may change due to the specific job details. 

Responsibilities

• Assists the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure a positive and efficient work experience
• Maintains the cleanliness and overall appearance of the commercial vehicles and warehouse
• Safely operates company vehicles to and from the customer locations
• Interacts with customers in a professional manner
  
• Loads and unloads trucks before and at the completion of a given project. Must be able to lift 60 pounds
• Maintains the physical security protocols we have in place and ensures others follow said protocols
• Uses electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into Securis' proprietary inventory system
  
• Processes equipment, which includes the manual disassembly of electronic equipment and putting those components in a specified container
• Attends and participates in weekly operations meetings
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

 Equipment

• Forklift
• Pallet Jack
• Metal destruction machine

Experience

• Must hold an active Class A CDL and updated driver medical card (DOT card)
• Warehouse experience (at least 1-2 years preferred)
• Forklift experience a plus

Computer Skills

• Knowledge of basic software like Microsoft is required

Educational Background

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
