SecureSky, Inc. is Seeking Multiple Business Development Executives

SecureSky, is a Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) provider, with supporting eXtended Detection and Response (XDR) and security consulting services. This position is a full-time permanent position in our Sales and Marketing group. The company is rapidly expanding and seeking multiple Business Development Executives, who will work remotely, and ideally be located in an area able to serve (a) East North Central U.S., (b) Mid-Atlantic and Northeast U.S., (c) West South Central U.S., and/or (d) East South Central and South Atlantic U.S.

The successful candidate will create and close B2B sales opportunities, execute ongoing account strategies to expand reach within clients, and work with channel partners to broaden SecureSky’s sales and marketing reach.


This role will lead prospects and existing clients through the sales lifecycle. Responsibilities include all activities related to meeting sales objectives:

  • Lead generation and management, including tracking and nurturing of self-generated and inbound prospects
  • Initial account penetration activities, including demonstration of technical products, explanation and customization of services, scoping, pricing, development of proposal or contract documentation, and management of prospect procurement and legal review processes
  • Ongoing account expansion activities, including involvement in delivery cycles and client planning to develop sales growth strategies
  • Development of and work with channel partners to market and profitably sell SecureSky’s portfolio

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Skills and experiences that would be beneficial for this role include:

  • Previous winning in an outside sales role:
    • Focused on cybersecurity services
    • Targeting enterprise or larger SMB environments
  • Demonstration of ongoing knowledge development related to IT and cybersecurity technologies, services, and trends
  • Ability to gather, analyze and communicate client feedback, trends, and competitive intelligence
  • Proof of consistently strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Talent to identify, prioritize and complete tasks with minimal supervision
