Position Overview:

As a Java Developer/Engineer with SecureNet Technologies, you will be a core member of the engineering team designing, developing and expanding our best in industry security & IoT platform. As part of product engineering, you will design and implement solutions for our backend services, data layer and web & mobile APIs. Collaborating with other departments like Design and Product, you will help to craft the next generation of our technology and bring exciting new products and features to our customers.

1. Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle
2. Write well designed, testable, efficient code
3. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
4. Prepare and produce releases of software components
5. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Requirements

Here's what you'll bring to the team:

1. 3+ years work experience as a Java Developer or similar role
2. Experience designing, building and testing Java EE applications
3. Exposure to popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC
4. Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
5. Problem-solving abilities
6. Basic understanding of system integration and testing throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

A plus if you have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
2. Experience with Scrum and other Agile processes.
3. Exposure to Jira, Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub, GitLab
