Finance Manager - Hybrid Remote

Immediate need for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for a fast growing Commercial General Contractor headquartered near Truist Park.  This role will work closely with the CFO to provide Senior Management with the financial data, information, and analysis necessary to make operational investment, and tactical decisions. This position analyzes, reviews, consults, and presents operational and financial data related to Construction activities and field operations. The role will also partner with the operational Directors, and Construction leadership to help them understand operational drivers of expenses and advise them on activities that will be effective to meet their financial commitments to the business.  There is a strong potential for this role to move up to larger responsibilities. 

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
• Developing dashboard reports for executive management as well as project management leaders.
• Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
• Understanding key business drivers.
• Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
• Developing financial projections and building financial models.
• Performing research and analysis as required.
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting required
• CPA Preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Finance or Business Analyst role in the Construction Industry
• High proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience working with CMiC or similar
