Innovative technology firm located in the Perimeter area is looking for an Assistant to support the sales team. This position will help the operational aspect of the sales team run smoothly. Our client is looking to hire due to growth! Great opportunity to join a successful company in growth mode.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Help sales representatives manage customer relationships
- Verify pricing, discounting/markups, etc.
- Put together customer-facing quotes/proposals
- Order entry and order follow-up with distribution/manufacturers
- Track order shipments
- Post-sales communication with sales representatives and customers
- Help manage support contracts and support renewal opportunities
- Assist sales reps with pipeline, forecasting in Salesforce
Job requirements (preferred, but not 100% necessary)
- 2-3 years of experience in sales support, customer support type role
- Understanding of the channel sales model
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience working in Salesforce.com a plus
