Angular Software Engineer

SeaTec is looking to expand our team with an energetic and capable Front-End Engineer. This position requires the successful candidate to be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. They should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design principles.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop websites using Angular (version 9+)
• Translate detailed design comps into clean, organized HTML/CSS/SCSS/TypeScript

• Write scalable, secure, maintainable code that powers our clients’ platforms

• Maintain and improve web applications
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Ensure high quality code delivery and brand consistency
• Invest time into professional development to stay up to date with new technologies and programming languages
• Debug and fix programming bugs

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience in JavaScript language
• 1 year of practical experience with at least one UI framework (preferably Angular version 9+)
• Prior experience planning, designing, developing, and deploying cloud applications on AWS platforms
• Experience with unit and integration testing of code, with an understanding of JavaScript testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Spectator)
• Knowledge of fundamental AWS services (i.e., Amplify, Cognito, IAM)
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Experience with agile methodology and scrum environments (Jira/Confluence)
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Basic knowledge of code version control (e.g., Git)
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Solid verbal communication and interpersonal skills
