Compensation: $80K to $110K based on experience with 0-20% Bonus potential

Benefits Offered: Healthcare (Immediate), 401K match of 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% (after 180 days), and unlimited vacation time

Opportunity Overview:

The Manager of Strategy and Operations is part of a team that manages and leads the day-to-day operations of Scripts Rx and serves as the primary think tank for strategic initiatives and innovative solutions. The applicant's time would be split been managing a growing team (currently about 20 team members) of patient contact center technicians and managing a set of strategic projects devoted to adhering to Scripts Rx core values of Continuous Learning, Thinking Differently, and Pharmacy Done Better.

Scripts Rx's primary business is completed through its omnichannel patient contact center. The Manager of Strategy and Operations is generally responsible for ensuring best-in-class execution at the contact center. Leading a team of Contact Center Program Leads, the applicant is expected to leverage a data-driven approach in guide decision-making and ensuring patients, doctors, and manufacturer clients receive white-glove service in a manner that pushes to boundaries of what is considered traditional pharmacy. Activities in this area include:

  • Manage the patient contact center performance program, training regimen, and compensation model
  • Regularly monitor and manage live dashboards to ensure employees are staffed appropriately

  • Acts as a trusted coach and mentor both within their line of responsibility and beyond

  • Support on-boarding of new patient contact center employees, including managing these employees through their 90-day probationary period

  • Create patient contact center schedule

  • Work productively with a diverse workforce of patient contact center technicians, ensuring to adhere to the company value of Win as a Team

  • Serve as a primary beacon of company values throughout the organization

  • Keeps our communities safe by ensuring Pharmacy Staff compliance with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations and Scripts Rx policy and procedures at all times

In addition to managing the contact center, the Manager of Strategy of Operations will also have ownership of 1 to 3 strategic initiatives focused on improving performance and service over a longer time horizon. The applicant will have access to partner with the senior leadership team at Scripts Rx in assessing new opportunities, evaluating strategic alternatives, and making recommendations. Scripts Rx’s organization has a relatively flat organizational structure that encourages innovation at all levels, including the most junior of positions. As such, the applicant will have ample opportunity to own large workstreams and influence decision-making with senior leaders in the organization. Activities in this area include:

  • Partners with management to drive and develop solutions to enhance customer experience
  • Guide implementation of innovative pharmacy technologies to improve patient care and doctor service levels
  • Integrate and implement additional client programs
  • Develop strategies to better service manufacturer clients
  • Help to support operational activities at the pharmacy including:
  • Monitor day-to-day performance of the pharmacy
  • Complete analyses related to the operations of the business
  • Manage inventory, budget, and other key financial management elements
  • Build manufacturer weekly manufacturer reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing staff
  • Experience in a pharmacy, pharmaceutical, or health care industry is preferred but not required
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Great interpersonal skills and ample experience with effectively communicating through email and PowerPoint
  • Experience with providing and effective in customer service situations (esp. telephony customer service) is preferred but not required
  • Proficient at Excel-based analyses and basic financial modeling
