Scorpion Services is looking for an experienced unarmed Security Officer who values long-term job security
and stability. The Officer will work in shifts and be responsible for ensuring the safety and
security of our clients’ commercial and residential properties, including their people and assets.
You will effectively collaborate with the clients, as well as SSI’s Operations Managers and other
team members to ensure the delivery of quality services.

Job Requirements:

• Performs site inspections and ensures post orders are being followed.
• Works in shifts and supports our security team as needed to carry out responsibilities.
• Handles or escalates any security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
• Ensures the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and the facility.
• Possesses effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability
• to interact with all levels of personnel, clients, and the general public.
• Assists in administering the patrol of the interior of and the perimeter of the building and
• the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable
• conditions.
• Represents the company with professionalism and utmost integrity

Experience:

• At least 1 year of verifiable security experience at a high-end luxury site
• Excellent communication in the English language (verbal + written) and interpersonal skills
• High School Diploma – mandatory
• Service in the US Military, Military reserves, or National Guard is desirable, but not mandatory
• Must be available to work day, swing, grave shifts, and overtime as needed
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, occasionally lifting or carrying equipment (up to 40 pounds), and climb stairs, ramps or ladders as needed.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check

• Valid California-issued Driver License or Identification Card (must be age 21+)
• Social Security Card
• Valid BSIS-issued CA Guard Card
• Proof of BSIS-mandated AB 2880 training (40 hours) and any other security-related certificates of training that you may possess.
