Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a Products Engineer to work with our customers to develop solutions to their power system needs, provide technical guidance within SEL and the power industry, and to design new products and solutions.If you are interested in supporting our customers as a Products Engineer, then this position is for you.Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Understand specific product line(s) and product applications. Analyze competitor products and prepare technical product comparison reports.2.

Prepare and maintain product documentation, including data sheets, flyers, instruction manuals, guide form specifications, release notes and service bulletins with supervision.3. Participate with development engineers and product managers to prioritize development activities to meet customer needs while accomplishing objectives.4.
