POSITION SUMMARY

Fitting and attachment of parts to produce a finished product.

Typical schedule is 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; tools, and materials.
• Positions parts by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications.
• Usage of various manual and power hand tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Physically, must be able to lift up to 50lbs., bend, squat, twist, and stand for prolonged periods of time. 
• Ability to read and understand tape measurements and perform basic math skills.
• Prompt and reliable attendance required.
• Related specific experience beneficial but will train on-site
