35 hours per week and 40 weeks per year.

Duties:Creates a partnership with each family which identifies goals, sets priorities and establishes a written plan for their child's educational goals and the family's goals per established Policies and Procedures. Makes weekly home visits to families, implementing the home base curriculum to ensure a developmentally appropriate learning environment for children and their families. Responsible for planning and carrying out educationally appropriate group sessions for children and their families encouraging active parent involvement bi-weekly based on a pre-approved calendar. Completes all required paper work accurately, efficiently and timely, including but not limited to education, health and social service records, including screening and assessments, concerning children and their families utilizing agency tools and best practices. Ensures families are actively referred to other Agency services and follows up and documents referrals utilizing agency best practices

Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Services or related field. A minimum of one year of demonstrated experience providing human services, teaching preschool children and/or adults, or related work. Experience making home visits preferred. Demonstrated computer expertise; consistently upgrading skills to remain up to date on the use of technology in the classroom and the workplace. Must provide on a biennial basis a physical from a licensed healthcare provider, clearing you under New York State Day Care regulations. Background check is required prior to employment as required by NYS Day Care regulations and Federal Head Start Performance Standards. Sensitive to the needs of low-income and minority populations.
