We are seeking a seasoned vet in the overhead crane industry to join our team! We are a medium-sized construction service and retrofit company. Looking for a hands on troubleshooter and most importantly a problem solver. Looking for the right fit to
Responsibilities:
Service overhead crane systems in steel mills and powerplants
Troubleshoot, repair and inspect overhead cranes and hoists.
Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.
Performing quality installations
Performing OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections
Documenting and completing warranty work
Troubleshooting breakdowns
Performing preventive maintenance
Qualifications:
Prior overhead crane experience
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment
Ability to assemble and repair complex machinery
Ability to perform inspections to OSHA/ANSI criteria
Ability to work independently.
Ability to fabricate and weld structures
Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
Willingness to travel
Safety oriented
NCCCO Certification a plus but not required
Compensation will be discussed based on experience.
