Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial duties of the company to include SaaS revenue reporting, wholesale/retail consumer products, debt financing revenue, A/R, A/P, basic financial analysis, and bank and credit card statement reconciliation. This position will add significant value to the company through cross-functional proactive review and optimization of key accounting processes and monitoring key performance indicators. This Position reports to the Director of Finance. Responsibilitites: * Manages the recognition of revenue for SaaS (recurring) client base, wholesale/retail consumer products (non-recurring) revenue streams, and debt financing revenue in accordance with current US GAAP. * Prepares manual journal entries relating to revenue recognition * Processes journal entries for month-end close, balance sheet account reconciliations. * Manages the A/R & A/P for all entities * Prepares financial statements for multiple entities * Completes cost center expense variance analysis and account reconciliations. * Works in partnership with entity leadership on the budgeting/planning activities of the organizations * Assists in preparing supporting schedules for external auditors and responding to audit inquiries * Contributes to and/or leads special projects and other tasks as they arise * Process and analyze large data files and synthesize data into relevant information * Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies * Other duties as assigned
