Sayres is seeking a Ship Post Delivery Program Analyst (JR Trial Card Management) with Secret Clearance in Washington, DC.

The position is located in one of the most exciting, growing and developing areas of Washington DC- just outside the Navy Yard almost next to National's Park. The economic development of the area provides for high quality of work/life with many vibrant restaurants and green spaces along the river.

In support of a Navy DDG 51 shipbuilding program, the Ship Post Delivery Program Analyst (JR Trial Card Management) will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide trial card tracking, generation, and management support functions for shipboard contract trials and provide PSA Trial Card Management support using TSM and ETC trial card applications.
  • Duties: Required to get underway with the ship in support of contractual inspections and trial events. Conduct Trial Card recording of documented deficiencies, Perform screening support, and status reviews. Process and analyze large quantities of data for the creation of summary metrics packages and various reports
  • Duties: Must be able to travel. Provide on-site (ships home port) Trial Card management support for the duration of each PSA (extended periods in excess of 90 days). Assist with the documentation and storage of all availability certification Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for the duration of each PSA
  • Support development of PSAWP, including all Contractor responsible and deferred work. Track and compile all new construction shipyard identified responsible work that is deferred to PSA for inclusion in the PSA work package.. Track Contractor deferred work to completion and provide periodic updates to the Post Delivery Manager. Prepare materials for trial card entry into the TSM
  • technical and administrative Interact effectively with senior executive staff. Research, accumulate, and analyze data to prepare draft correspondence, white papers, briefings and reports in response to external queries. Provide other technical and administrative assistance as may be required.
  • Develop minutes, briefings, records and maintain sensitive program data in accordance with Navy policy and procedures.
  • Provide a wide range of executive, analytical, management, and administrative support including, but not limited to: preparing executive correspondence, management of records, schedules, correspondence, long-term planning, deliverables tracking, task management, and other assistance as may be required.

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (any field) preferred or a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent communication, customer, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Navy shipbuilding/repair and the related industry (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to work in a ship/shipyard environment.
  • Secret clearance or the ability to obtain interim secret clearance.
  • Ability to get underway on a ship for at sea trial events, climbing ladders, and walking on steel decks.
