Assists the Director of Human Resource in day to day activities within the Human Resource and Payroll Department. Responsible for Onboarding and the Orientation Process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.
Coordinate & assist with the orientation, new hire processes & employee training.
Provide high quality service to management on daily employee relations and performance issues.
Answers questions and explains information to employees and department managers.
Support HR department in implementing programs to help improve employee experience.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Offer proactive recruiting assistance as well as workforce planning. Assist in hiring duties such as interviewing, recruiting, & hiring processes.
Compile and maintain personnel records and documentation, scanning personal information into Healthland and network systems.
Assists with documenting and updating policies and procedures.
Prepare special reports as required.
Develop communication priorities such as writing and gathering content for newsletter and other projects.

Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years previous experience required.
Strong knowledge of hiring process.
Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
Previous office experience preferred.
Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions and possess positive skills in communication. Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, visitors, and the general public.
Ability to calculate and analyze at the level necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram or schedule form.
