We are looking for a file clerk/scan clerk. This person will need to be IT/tech savvy in order to document and manage files received via different methods. Someone who has a sharp skill set to be able to operate scanners, burn copies of records, as well as sort and scan mail and records to the document management system, then distribute.after saved and profiled, to the appropriate person. This will include knowledge of formatting flash drives, CD, and DVD’s to burn copies of critical case files received via links or various methods that has to be properly labeled and copies made for backup file management.
Knowledge of legal claim files and terminology and basic understanding of legal files and documents received is a plus. This ability will assist in process all mail and records received efficiently and consistently using standard naming conventions for a legal firm.
Need someone who is self motivated to work and eager to learn and assist others at all times. Job would be to assist and support entire firm, assist attorneys for files and records received as well as assisting support staff in their legal case management needs. Someone eager to step in and help others as needed and willing to do anything. If you have a problem with cell phone in your hand or worrying about earbuds all day long this is not the job for you. We need someone who is alert as to needs in the firm and what is going on around him/her and the general pulse of work needs. If getting to work on time or not feeling well Monday or Friday is a common condition, this isn’t the job for you. Everyone at the firm depends on this person at all times to be available to help. And is very much appreciated for their commitment to being here and helping.
