Under the supervision of the Food Service Coordinator, prepares, seasons and cooks for hospital patients, facility guests, and employees following standard recipes, practices and procedures and complying with regulatory requirements. Will supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Food Service Coordinator.
High School diploma or equivalent. Possession of Riverside County Food Handlers Card/Certificate, or good Handlers certificate from a nationally recognized organization. One year of cooking experience is required. At least 18 years of age. Ability to speak and understand, write, and follow directions in English. Ability to cooperate with coworkers and the public.
