The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Chief Administrative Office (N) of the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). This position will provide confidential administrative support to the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Program Management Office Manager, Diversity and Inclusion Director, along with overall program support for the Program Management Office, Sustainability Program, Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey, and supporting CAO Employee engagement initiatives.
This position will provide administrative support for a very diverse team of program and management analysts. The team exists to directly support the Chief Administrative Officer, one of four BPA front office positions. The environment is fast paced and requires the ability to effectively deal with new issues and challenges as the team supports and coordinates activities across multiple business units in a timely manner. One of the benefits of working in the department is broad business exposure to the leadership for 8 major business functions reporting to the CAO (IT, HR, Supply Chain, Diversity & Inclusion Program, CAO Program Management Office, Security, Workplace Services, and Safety). Our team is very high-performing and fun. Collaboration among team members occurs throughout most of the day, the work environment is a combination of loud and heads down quiet. A person well suited for this position enjoys providing excellent customer service and has a desire to learn and work through interesting challenges.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 6 years of demonstrated administrative/clerical experience is required.
- 4 or more years of relevant work experience in administrative support functions with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (Microsoft Office 2010 proficiency required).
- Intermediate to advanced skills/experience with SharePoint sufficient to support, manage, edit and maintain site.
- Associates Degree in Secretarial Science, Administrative Management or related field is preferred.
