Job Description


SalesFirst Recruiting is a dynamic and growing sales recruiting firm looking for a motivated Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team. As a Sales & Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating, booking, and executing events, setting meetings for our Sales Leader and CEO, and helping to bring in new clients to the company.

This role is going to play a major part of our success this year as we set our goals even higher.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and execute events that showcase SalesFirst Recruiting's services and attract new clients.
  • Identify & Book 3rd party events for SalesFirst to attend and ensure all logistics are in place.
  • Set and coordinate meetings for the Sales Leader and CEO with potential clients.
  • Identify and cultivate new client opportunities through networking, research, and relationship-building.
  • Manage the sales and event budget and ensure all expenses are tracked and reconciled.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute event-related marketing campaigns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attend to their needs during events.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to continually improve SalesFirst Recruiting's events and sales approach.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in event planning, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships and negotiate deals.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.


HYBRID REMOTE:

  • This position requires some time in the office (in either Tigard or Portland), some time in the field, and some time working from home.
  • Must live in the Portland metro area to occasionally visit the office
