In the spirit of “Making Dreams Come True” Newly Constructed Home (NCH) Data & Programming Support helps maximize workflow efficiency and increases overall accuracy through automation of necessary computer functions. This role helps design, maintain, and upgrade programs that control, track, and monitor workflow. They develop reports and produce statistical data to help inform greater decision-making and/or process modifications. This position ensures programs are compatible or made so when software environments change and/or are upgraded. They develop macros and VBA programs to automate needed processes that integrate with existing software. In addition, they work closely with members of our I.T. Department to access needed data and manipulate according to team needs to include utilizing database tables and queries. They are a vital member of the Newly Constructed Home Team.
Educational/ Experience Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school preferred; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in information technology/systems, computer programming, computer science, software engineering, database administration, construction/design or related fields preferred.
This position requires strong project management & organizational skills - paying great attention to detail. Excellent computer and communication skills are needed, along with the ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively; with the capacity to see a detailed process through from start to finish. Must be highly-skilled in the Microsoft Suite; VBA certification preferred.
