Salem Health is currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join their Outpatient Rehabilitation team.
Clinical Psychologist sought to provide health/medical psychology services primarily in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. Required skills include evaluation of medical patients, treatment of medically related psychological issues, and consultation with rehabilitation teams regarding total patient care. Patients would include those with chronic pain conditions, CVA, traumatic brain injury, and other patients with medical impairments. Experience in assessing bariatric patients for surgery and/or treating patients with insomnia is desired. Opportunities for consultation services to inpatient rehabilitation unit, as well as to palliative care and other inpatient services, are available.
The Salem Health Outpatient Rehabilitation team is made up of over 70 clinicians working together to help our patients of all ages achieve the maximum level of independence possible after an injury or illness. In order to treat the patient as a whole person we recognize the value of the interdisciplinary approach to care. The psychologist is integral to the effectiveness of our many diverse clinical teams.
Salem Health offers exceptional care to people in and around Oregon's mid-Willamette Valley. Minimum Qualifications Include:
Must have a Psy.D., Ph.D., or an Ed.D. in Clinical Psychology.
Licensed by the State of Oregon to practice as a Psychologist, or be eligible for an Oregon license.
Applicants that have completed their residency as a psychologist will be considered, but continuation in the position beyond the 90 day trial period will be contingent upon successfully obtaining an Oregon license as a Psychologist.
Must be licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Oregon.
