GENERAL DESCRIPTION – PURPOSE OF ROLE: The Client Services Inside Sales Lead will be a member of our Client Services Team and a key support to the Sales and Sales Operations teams, with an emphasis on providing high-level customer service to our clients: manufacturers reps, authorized dealers and consumers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Answer incoming calls and email inquiries from clients • Place outbound calls and send communications to our client base to ensure client satisfaction and to uncover sales opportunities • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails • Understand customer needs and requirements • Provide item specifications and content to authorized dealers • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals • Perform effective online demos to prospects • Present webinars for each vertical • Conduct website audits; • Managing product sample orders for reps and dealers • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest • Data entry, some database updates/maintenance • Maintain and expand database of prospects OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AS REQUESTED: • Other miscellaneous client services and related projects, participate in on-going company and product training. QUALIFICATIONS: Enthusiasm for assisting customers; ability to problem solve to achieve positive outcomes; excellence in handling tasks quickly and accurately; ability to maintain a knowledge of products, promotions, processes and procedures; good follow through to achieve high customer satisfaction; excellent verbal and written communication skills; team player. The ideal candidate takes initiative and has a can-do attitude with the ability to multi-task and work with individuals as well as other teams throughout the organization, to achieve performance metrics on a consistent basis. PREFERRED SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE: Experience using NetSuite ERP and Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on excel, previous customer service and inside sales experience preferred. Background in manufacturing and/or consumer products is beneficial.
