Application Developer

SaiTech, Inc. is seeking an Application Developer for a full-time position at Stennis Space Center, MS. This position provides programming support to NASA’s Product and Data Lifecycle Management team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of IT experience performing application development and troubleshooting, process analysis, documentation development, and requirements verification.

Responsibilities:

• Customization and Configuration of the PTC Windchill Tool
• Application Development in the PTC ThingWorx IOT Platform
• Provide system/application admin support
• Provide Help Desk support for Windchill applications
• Proactively monitor and perform preventative maintenance for Windchill application
• Implement and document technical solutions
• Development of User Manuals and How-to documentation
• Perform system testing and requirements verification
• Communicate with the customer to accurately derive application requirements and conduct periodic application reviews
• Ensure software development follows established configuration control protocols

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical or IT related field
• 2+ years of overall IT experience
• Thorough knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Oracle, and AngularJS
• Effective communication style with internal team members and customers
• Ability to multi-task on concurrent projects and support activities
• Ability to estimate development effort and deliver applications to timescales
• Experience developing and maintaining user manuals and how-to documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using and/or administering PTC Windchill
• Experience with modeling/design packages such as PTC Creo, AutoCAD, and Revit
• Configuration Management experience
• Mobile application development experience a plus

Education Contract Equivalent Statement:

• Bachelor's degree in technical or IT related field
