This role will focus on updating and maintaining the testing for the game operations tools team
Creating, updating, and entering test cases that will reside in the TCM.
Assist with day-to-day team operations including user story completion, ad hoc testing, as well as consultation - with guidance - on how to approach quality.
This role will likely have some automation, but will be largely manual for the beginning of the project.
This role will also include clarifying and understanding the game team???s processes and future processes that may be risky to the tooling
Identifying and maintaining KPIs as well as dashboards to communicate metrics and KPIs.
A successful person in this role will be able to:
Project success is measured through the successful functionality of the teams tools. Success as well as risks should be measured by the Sr. QA Analyst on this team through creation of test strategies, execution of testing, as well as communication of risks. Through defect management
Experience in test case creation from Feature development throughout SDLC
Experience in test case execution from feature development throughout SDLC
Experience in working in embedded and/or contract development model
Holds player/customer experience first
Willing to gather and present data to inform and help guide the team
Experience collaborating with team to establish and maintain quality experiences
Effectively analyzes and communicates risk
Key software experience:
Bug tracking software
Source Control experience
Test Case management system or at least test case creation and maintenance experience
Person will understand and communicate quality metrics in how the Game Operations Tools team provides services for game and service teams to provide the best experience possible
Help to define and create test suite including test plan and test cases for a given concentration area
Converse with development team through attending stand ups, team meetings, and collaborating individually as well as across the project
Complete test plan and test cases in specified concentration area including guiding automation possibilities
Metrics gathering and reporting of product quality to team and stakeholders utilizing code analysis, TCM analysis, as well as defect and task reporting systems
Communicating metrics and metric trending reports to the development team to aid in driving quality improvement
Collaborate with external vendors to coordinate and complete third-party reviews and additional testing
