Zodiac Services Americas is an aftermarket organization supporting Repair, Customer Service Department & Spare Parts Distribution of Safran Group's aerospace companies. We are focused on customer support via strategically located FAA approved repair stations, and an Atlanta based central inventory. The Shipping Clerk controls and tracks materials from initial receipt through storage to issuance; performs the warehousing, stocking, storing, pulling, packing, shipping, receiving, and handling of aviation materials, as well as coordinates the delivery of spare parts, equipment. Additionally, the Shipper also inspects outgoing aircraft parts and materials against customer-requested documentation. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. + Inspects, packs, labels and weighs the materials for shipment attaching appropriate transport vendor and/or customs paperwork. + Understands Electrostatic Discharge handling and shipping procedures. + Understands Shelf and Service Life product dates. + Understands and abides by Hazardous Material Shipping regulations must be hazmat certified. + Schedule any pickup that is necessary, ie, Fedex, APS, LTC or AirFrieght + Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies. + Understands and complies with applicable domestic and international shipping restrictions. + Available for after hours AOG duty as scheduled. + Willingness to cross train in other functional areas as directed. + Flexible with start/finish times as directed by Shipping Lead or Manager. **QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS** **a) Certifications, Knowledge and Skills** + Technical aptitude + Knowledge of computers + Data Entry + Zodiac Services Quality Management System **b) Competencies** + Technical Capacity + Organizational Skills + Decision Making + Initiative **c) Education and/or Experience** + Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. **d) Communication Skills** + Good oral and written communication skills essential for interaction with both internal and external customers. **e) Physical Demands** + Must be able to stand and/or sit for up to eight hours, set, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
