Serve as a plant maintenance and reliability program leader to maintain and ensure operation of packaging equipment
Maintain a good understanding of auxiliary equipment such as water systems, air compressors, boilers, etc.
Manages all plant maintenance activity including planning, scheduling, monitoring, forecasting, resource allocation and cost control
Develop, implement, maintain, direct, and refine, both predictive and preventive maintenance programs
Work closely with all other plant departments and department heads to ensure plant priority maintenance needs are met
Manage maintenance department workforce and contractor trades to work productively and hold them accountable to performance expectations and assist maintenance techs when needed
Ensure maintenance department is fully equipped, staffed, qualified and trained to support plant maintenance needs
Manage the plant safety program; recommend and implement safety policies and procedures, lead Safety Committee and perform safety inspections and reports
BA/BS industrial/manufacturing, engineering or related field
10+ years of direct experience; manufacturing, management
Pharmaceutical management experience a plus
5 years’ experience with boilers, air compressors, HVAC, sprinkler systems, and electrical systems a plus
FDA/cGMP knowledge a plus
