Job Description

SCOPE

The Service Technician performs scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs. Schedules and plans service calls. Prepares equipment, tools, and materials required for service work. Cleans and performs preventative maintenance on various equipment. Troubleshoots equipment and other on-site problems and makes recommendations to clients. Maintains documentation, including maintenance and inspection records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs maintenance services for mobility and locker equipment which will include strollers, wheelchairs, ECV's, lockers, and other equipment
  • Diagnoses and documents equipment problems and repairs
  • Partners with various teams within the company including, Supervisor, to problem solve and complete work
  • Exhibits the ability to read and interpret manuals
  • Completes part orders and logs issues
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures
  • Able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in equipment service or maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Mechanically inclined and oriented with troubleshooting skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Exhibits a willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Works independently with limited supervision
  • Travel may be required
