The Manager of Accounting will be responsible for all accounting, reporting, budgeting,

forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Such activities will include but not be limited to

cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, bank reconciliations,

maintaining general ledger and fixed asset ledger, verifying and posting transactions,

producing accounting reports, budget and forecast preparation, and financial analysis as



Prepares all journal entries including monthly closing entries

Responsible for completion and maintenance of general ledgers and financial reports.

Maintains fixed asset registers.

Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general

ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.

Prepares financial analysis as requested

Documents and maintains accounting policies and procedures

Performs monthly bank account reconciliations.

Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed,

and total accounts.

Maintains detail contract data files for all contracts of Safecor Health LLC

Lead a team of 2 to 3 direct reports


Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance field

CPA certificate is preferred but not required

5-8 years prior accounting experience or developed accounting skills such as performing

bank reconciliations, maintaining general ledger, accounts payable, cost benefit analysis,

financial analysis and maintaining general ledger preferred

Proficient computer skills including all Microsoft Office products, with specific abilities in

Excel and Word

Familiarity with QAD, Safecor's ERP system is preferred

Detail orientation and highly organized

Strong administrative skills including compiling and preparing reports

Professional verbal communication skills including the ability to work well with all levels of

internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors

Strong interpersonal and management skills

Creative problem solving abilities and effective negotiation skills

Effective written communication skills including the ability to draft and edit documents

Strong organizational skills

Ability to prioritize workload and keep projects on task
