We are seeking to hire a Payroll Coordinator/Accounting Assistant to join our CareTeam to assist us with weekly client billing, A/R and A/P, VA billing management and employee payroll. Immediate full-time or part-time positions available now. SYNERGY HomeCare of Metro Houston offers:

As a Payroll Coordinator/Accounting Assistant with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will:
+ Receive and deposit client payments; record receipts into QuickBooks; prepare A/R aging reports to review with management each week; and perform collection calls if necessary;
+ Prepare weekly invoices to clients, LTC Insurance companies and the Veteran's Administration (knowledge of the VA billing system, Emdeon, is a plus);
+ Assist with reconciling employee timesheets on a weekly basis for both payroll and client invoicing purposes;
+ Provide backup assistance to our HR and Scheduling team with all HR and scheduling duties.

Qualifications & Requirements:
+ Education and Experience Guidelines: Must have at least 3+ years of payroll/accounting experience. Candidates with prior experience specifically in non-medical home care industry will be placed in the highest consideration.
