Job Description

Under general supervision, this position supports the production and maintenance operations department by monitoring the Body Shop through the various interface screens to identify and escalate faults and conditions which affect throughput.



  • This Position works a rotating, 12-hour schedule.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays is required.



  • Support Operations Team by Monitoring the interfaces to the PLC's, Robots, Conveyor Systems and AGV's to identify and escalate downtime issues.
  • Monitor fault time and aid production and maintenance to escalate to next level support.
  • Identify and analyze histogram models to determine if escalation to Maintenance TL is required.
  • Route bodies to CMM or weld destruct per plan via interface with PLUS and AGV systems.
  • Route bodies to Central Repair for product issues.
  • Act as Call Center if requested for next level support, either onsite support or offsite support.
  • Utilize digital interfaces such as iPortal, SFROG, ACC, NET Tool, FactoryTalk and APEX camera systems to monitor and deploy appropriate resources.
  • Uses Delphi to make changes to iPortal screens.
  • Provides feedback of improvement or optimization opportunities.
  • Writes adequate shift log and track data.
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study OR the equivalent combination of education and/or years of relevant working experience.
  • Co-Op/Internship and/or up to two (2) years professional experience in PLC’s, Robots, Conveyor Systems, and/or AGV’s.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 
  • Programming Skills in HTML5, Siemens S7, Rockwell
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand technical English.
