Job Description

Performance Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations ensuring all people and facilities operate within the highest standards of safety, ethics, fairness, accuracy, service, and efficiency.
  • Lead business expansion in new markets and execute against project plans.
  • Develop and implement business processes, procedures, and KPIs to monitor and measure operational efficiencies and effectiveness across all functional departments.
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to grow business profitably within the operational budget while maintaining or exceeding service levels and not compromising other key measures or standards.
  • Work directly with the CEO on both long and short term business strategies as well as manage all phases of business development, including acquisition due diligence and integration.
  • Manage and understand contractual agreements- negotiations, relationships, as well as manage the logistics of client and vendor contracts.
  • Responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis on the business to the CEO and CFO with strategic emphasis on profitable growth, operational efficiencies, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Deliver at or above all financial, service level and safety targets/KPIs.
  • Maintain a high level of focus on the customer with the objective to meet or exceed the customer's expectations.
  • Provide strategic direction and planning for business operations and processes, including project management and execution.
  • Responsible for ensuring the facilities comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Partner and works closely with all functional support teams - HR, marketing, finance, legal, IT, etc. to ensure uniformity across processes, controls, business practices, policies, etc.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports and communicate expectations.
  • Responsible for building and developing a high-performing team by making talent decisions that align to organizational capability needs of the business.
  • Inspire and motivate an organizational culture that results in accountability, inclusion, and results.

Qualifications & Skills for Success:

  • BS/BA or commensurate experience required
  • 10+ years in growing and managing client-facing business operations, prioritizing initiatives, leading projects, and successfully executing plans in a related service industry
  • Ability to build teams, lead and manage effectively; as well as delegate and monitor performance against expectations.
  • Strong financial background and acumen in driving business results.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with excellent project management skills, including familiarity with LEAN principles, process mapping, and change management.
  • Self-directed and highly motivated.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Keen eye for details yet can grasp the larger picture.
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player and also a confident leader who has excellent relationship building skills and can work effectively with a variety of personality types.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong enthusiasm and positivity along with a commitment to creating excellent experiences ​
