Maintenance Supervisor

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Facilities Services activities of SVN | Parke Group. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of all equipment, systems, and infrastructure. You will supervise a team of 6-10 maintenance technicians, allocate resources, prioritize tasks, and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize client and tenant experience. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintenance management.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

· Plan, prioritize, and assign maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion and efficient use of resources.

· Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize uptime.

· Conduct regular inspections and assessments of owned and managed facilities, equipment, systems, and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.

· Coordinate with Property Management and Brokerage departments, to schedule maintenance activities in a manner that minimizes disruptions to daily operations.

· Monitor and maintain inventory levels of tools, spare parts, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance operations.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment performance data.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.

· Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to obtain necessary services, parts, and equipment.

· Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in maintenance management to continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in maintenance operations.

· Train and educate maintenance staff on new equipment, technologies, and maintenance techniques.

· Monitor and control maintenance expenses, ensuring adherence to the allocated budget.

· The Maintenance Supervisor may be called upon to perform maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Minimum, high school diploma or equivalent; a technical or vocational degree in a related field is preferred.

· Demonstrated experience in maintenance supervision, leadership, or a similar role.

· Strong technical knowledge of various equipment and systems, such as HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and building maintenance.

· Solid understanding of preventive maintenance practices and experience implementing preventive maintenance programs.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance technicians.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

· Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to maintenance operations.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

· Proficient computer skills, including experience with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.

· Must submit to and pass a drug screening test and criminal background check.
