The Managing Director is a seasoned & experienced business leader and relationship manager that is viewed as a trusted advisor to clients and COIs in the Property Management Company/ HOA Industry and can build, manage and develop a portfolio of significant deposit relationships that lead to other revenue generating products and services.
In this role, assistance is given to the Property Management Segment Leader/Senior Managing Director to expand into new regions and will be primarily focused on the growth of new deposit relationships with Property Management Companies/HOAs. Customer service and Treasury Management Product sales support will be given through a centralized and dedicated team. The Managing Director will contribute to the bank's deposit growth initiatives and profitability with an extensive focus on expanding our Property Management Company/HOA banking group.
The Deposit RM plays an important role as a client-facing colleague who is tasked with sourcing deposit business from new clients, predominantly. Problem-solving, creativity and negotiation are critical for notable deposit growth and success in the role. Areas of responsibility include, but not limited to:
- Accurate pre-screening of opportunity and communication of same
- Client inquiry with respect foreseeable deposit opportunities
- Thoughtful/fact-based rationale for pricing recommendations
- Setting clear expectations with clients
Establish and foster meaningful relationships with COIs (Vendors, CPAs, Attorneys, etc.) in regions served to enhance opportunities for a steady flow of deposits. Will be evidenced by:
- Emphasis on face-to-face visits
- Repeat referrals from COIs that turn into funded business
- Attend conferences or seminars such as GFOA, school business officials, etc.) that will enhance the MDs position in the territory they serve
Timely and complete submission of all opportunities in EnAct with accurate relationship stages and dates assigned; Timely and complete submission of Weekly Priorities and Debrief Emails
Develop and deliver effective proposals for presentation to existing and potential clients
Exercise credit judgment consistent with the team goals; monitor and evaluate credit worthiness of clients
Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures

Who We Want
For this position, at least 8 years of building and expanding new banking relationships is preferred.
Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required.
Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration.
Ability to build and expand trusting relationships and partnerships.
Knowledge of banking regulations, lending policies, procedures and techniques and well demonstrated understanding of loan risk factors a plus.
Knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques and accounting is a plus.
