Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and Start-up of new machines (in-house and at customers)
  • Assembly of mechanical parts according to specifications
  • Perform international Service Assignments and After Sales Activities (maintenance, troubleshooting, repair)
  • Perform type integrations and optimization of existing machines
  • Help with site development
  • The employee is regularly required to stand for longer periods of time
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience or similar education period
  • Preferred education in the scope of systems engineering, mechatronics (mechanical and electrical), or mechanical engineering
  • Willingness to travel worldwide if necessary (i.e. USA, Mexico, Canada, …) and to extensive training at STIWA Group HQ in Europe (Austria)
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work in teams
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Proficiency with power tools such as drills or saws
