Prominent third-generation manufacturer’s representative located in Frederick, MD is looking for an Assistant Sales Coordinator. Your high energy and drive to exceed expectations along with your professional knowledge of the construction industry and your 2 to 3 years prior experience as a project coordinator will be beneficial for our team.  In this primarily customer facing role, you will use your strong verbal and written communication skills as a bridge between subcontractors, factories, vendors, account reps, the Engineering Team and customers to monitor incoming order requests, manage material orders, track shipments, and maintain project-specific updates, and support the Project Coordination Team by ensuring budgets are met and all equipment and materials are available as needed for each project.  Your combination of a high degree of organizational and analytical skills along with your attention to detail will be useful in providing multiple administrative tasks, data entering purchase orders and maintaining factory updates in our ERP. You will demonstrate your knowledge of the MS Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, and Outlook while coordinating transportation with third party logistics as well as local delivery companies.  You will support customers in the DC, MD and VA region during regular business hours, demonstrating your ability maintain a sense of urgency while still working calmly under deadline pressure. We support you with a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, a 401K retirement plan and company profit sharing, paid sick leave, vacation days and paid holidays all while working in a team environment.
