Star Line Mackinac Island Hydro-Jet© Ferry is currently seeking a friendly, energetic and customer orientated Office Manager.
Effectively able to train and manage 15-20 ticket sellers/customer service representatives; Ensuring they are thoroughly trained with ticket sales, counting money, credit card machines, answering phones, daily report sheets, and correspondence with all local hotels.
Answering phones and providing exceptional customer service while answering questions such as ticket prices, ferry times, packages, valet, weather, and Island information.
Managing ticket sales reports, spreadsheets and deposits at the end of the day to assure they are correct. Other duties include but not limited to weekly scheduling, passenger counts, freight invoicing, ordering supplies, Tracking and maintaining call logs and maintaining a clean work area.
Previous manager experience
MS Word and Excel experience
Must be detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking and have excellent organizational skills
Quality work ethics and honesty a must
Accounting experience is highly recommended
Must be able to work nights and weekends
